  Some of the members of this church are very rude and judgemental. The office help needs the Holy Spirit badly. When you do unto the least of these, you do unto Me. But the pastor??? van driver??? helped us out with the WHOLE two dollars we needed and two more. May the Lord bless him and convict the office help. In Jesus' name i ask this. Amen

  I have been going to First Baptist Church for almost three years now. Ever since our very first visit, we have been warmly welcomed, and when needed, provided with spiritual, logistical, and financial support. We had just moved into the area, and the Womens Ministry had a baby shower for me, just a short 7 months after I started attending the church. By the loving actions of various people in the church, as well as the church establishment, I have had help moving, help with car problems, help paying a heating bill, and also have had people in the church take care of my children when I needed it. I have always been encouraged, but never pressured to get involved in ministry which, by the grace and leading of God, I am able to do in several ways.
  There is a large elderly population here, but also a growing number of young families and a staff that really cares about seeing people grow in their faith and encourages people to get out there and do the work that God has for you.
  If you are looking for a church, I would strongly suggest checking this one out. These people take "Church Family" very seriously!

  My husband, I, and our 3 children visited this church twice. First on a Sunday night and again for Sunday School on a Sunday morning. The only people who came, other than to the regular service, were a handful of elderly folks. During the summer they do not have Sunday school for children so the children have nowhere to go while the parents are in the adult Sunday school. The content that was preached on was good and the people were very friendly. The pastor was new and just learning the ropes it seemed, but he did a good job at preaching an informative lesson.
